Over the last couple of years, it has been a requirement by the Spanish authorities that a valid Port State Control Inspection Report is handed in with the other requisite documents for vessel’s over 24 meters that require a Spanish charter license.  This requirement has now changed, as the report no longer needs to be handed in to get the cruising permit, but vessels should note that if they come to Palma as Priority I vessels, there is a chance that they may be inspected.
